May 28, 2006 -- The Yankees would have been a juggernaut this season if Hideki Matsui hadn't gone down. Now they're going to have to get Alfonso Soriano back before the trading deadline to supercharge the offense. If they don't get Soriano, their offense is going to struggle somewhat and they're almost never going to bust a game open. There's no chance of them getting to or winning the World Series with their offense limited as it is now.
